FLL Team #706, A little More Robotics, Bubble Rappers, was founded and mentored by members of FRC Team# 1714, More Robotics. The team is made up of kids from 8 different schools. They did several community activities to promote FIRST including public demonstrations, marching in a parade, meeting our congresswoman, and hosting a Lego workshop. They participated in community service projects with team #1714. More Robotics also helped 2 other rookie FLL teams from the Milwaukee Academy of Science and the Davis boys and Girl’s Club. Their research involved nanotechnology in energy production, and they learned about this from Dr. Chen at the University of WI, Milwaukee. The name, Bubble Rappers is significant because a carbon nanotube looks like a piece of rolled bubble wrap, and they created a rap about nanotechnology for their presentation. The team had a great rookie season. At the Mukwonago Regional they won the Programming Award and were recognized for Gracious Professionalism. The team continues to meet in the off season, and looks forward to next season’s challenge.     Team #706 Sponsors
